The latest version of Mint is nearly ready!
Has anyone tried it yet?
Dave, I am using Mint 16 xfce on one laptop and Mint 17 Cinnamon and MATE on two others.
I downloaded the xfce RC distro onto a disc about a fortnight ago but now I see that they have released Mint 17 xfce more recently. What do the RC letters stand for? Was that a beta release? Talking on a general note I find the mint green colour scheme very pleasing and I have found a Spring green woodland photo for my desktop which looks very good with it.
Would you recommend me to burn a new disc with the xfce release now? Maybe there is an easier way to upgrade from Mint 16 xfce? Having uploads all the way through to 2019 is a very nice aspect of 17.
